Recording at "KellerTone", a recording studio located in the basement of an old Berlin building in the Wedding neighborhood. Recording tango music from the 1930s and 1940s. Peter Kolpakov, the studio owner, described it as "a time machine."

Nicolás Japas is a guitarist, composer, and artist specializing in tango music and contemporary compositions. With a deep appreciation for the classic tangos of the 1930s and 1940s, Nicolás creates solo guitar arrangements that honor the traditional Argentine repertoire while bringing his unique artistic vision to each performance.
Based between Argentina and Berlin, Nicolás has recorded at renowned studios including KellerTone in Berlin's Wedding neighborhood, where he captured the essence of tango music in an intimate, analog setting.
Beyond music, Nicolás is also an accomplished illustrator, creating thought-provoking artwork that explores social and political themes. His diverse artistic projects include Mr. Tofu, Astra Noctis, and Conurbano Tango, each offering a different facet of his creative expression.
